Exhibiton: Exploring the Bavarian forest 2024

V této performanci se nechávám svým mužským partnerem zavazovat do silikonového odlitku krávy, což symbolizuje hluboké spojení mé identity s identitou kravskou. Tento akt je výrazem mého přijímání a zároveň kritického zpochybňování označení, které mi společnost a muži přisuzují. Když se nechávám zavázat do této formy, ztotožňuji se s částí sebe, kterou bývám vnímána jako "hloupá kráva." Skrze tento proces přijímání a identifikace zkoumám dynamiku moci a identity, a zároveň ironicky komentuji vtělení a označení, které mi muži dávají.

Performance je filozofickým zkoumáním ženské identity, kde se stírání hranic mezi člověkem a zvířetem stává metaforou pro společenské nálepky a role, které jsou ženám vnucovány. Přijímám tuto část sebe, ale zároveň tímto aktem poukazuji na absurditu a redukci ženské identity na jednoduché a ponižující stereotypy. Skrze tuto performanci se snažím rozbít patriarchální konstrukce a nalézt hlubší pochopení sebe sama mimo společenské konvence a normy.

Hraji si s dynamikou moci a kontrolou, kterou mi partner tímto rituálem symbolicky uděluje, a zároveň odhaluji, jak tato moc ovlivňuje mé vlastní vnímání sebe. Performance tak otevírá diskusi o vnímání žen v patriarchální společnosti a zpochybňuje tradiční role a identifikace, které jsou ženám přisuzovány.

In this performance, I let my male partner bind me in a silicone cast of a cow, symbolizing the deep connection between my identity and the cow's identity. This act is an expression of my acceptance and at the same time a critical questioning of the labels that society and men ascribe to me. When I allow myself to be committed to this form, I identify with the part of myself that is perceived as a "stupid cow." Through this process of acceptance and identification, I explore the dynamics of power and identity, while ironically commenting on the embodiment and labels men give me.

The performance is a philosophical exploration of female identity, where the blurring of boundaries between human and animal becomes a metaphor for the social labels and roles that are imposed on women. I embrace this part of myself, but I also use this act to point out the absurdity and reduction of female identity to simple and demeaning stereotypes. Through this performance, I seek to break down patriarchal constructions and find a deeper understanding of myself outside of societal conventions and norms.

I play with the dynamics of power and control that my partner symbolically grants me through this ritual, while revealing how this power affects my own perception of myself. In doing so, the performance opens up a discussion about the perception of women in a patriarchal society and challenges the traditional roles and identifications that are ascribed to women.
